First podium of the season for the team Green Paper Trek . At the Granfondo Segafredo City of Asolo Sunday, April 15, 2018, Antonio Surian he managed to join the four-man breakaway, taking second place behind the Venetian Igor Zanetti (Scott Team).

Over 1200 granfondo riders showed up at the start in Casella d'Asolo, ready to tackle the unique route of 106 km with a difference in altitude of 1400 m .

“I managed to hook up with the right breakaway on the ups and downs of Monfumo, we all worked together perfectly and in a short time we built up a reassuring margin over the pursuers. On the Forcella Mostaccin Zanetti imposed his pace which was frankly impossible to keep up. In any case I am satisfied with my performance: a second place behind the multiple winner Zanetti is almost like a victory”
